Baby Carry Case (Cat with Swing)

Firstly, let's start off with some basic information about this adorable set.  It is only sold under Sylvanian Families as set number #5, and not available in Calico Critters.  We received ours as a gift from family who had vacationed in Southeast Asia, specifically Malaysia and Singapore.  It is part of the Baby Carry Case Series in which a baby figure comes with a little accessory and a catalog inside this transparent carry case.  For a lot of these little accessories, they are exclusive to just that carry case.  In this Baby Carry Case (Cat with Swing), a few contents are included: Ginni Golightly Tuxedo Cat, a swing comprised of two snap on parts, a catalog tucked behind the cardboard, and a transparent carry/display case.

The swing can move in a full circle (though not recommended as your critters probably don't want any broken bones).  The pink swing is snapped on with two plastic parts to the white frame.  It is compatible with any standard Calico Critter or Sylvanian Families sitting baby.

Ginni Golightly Silk Cat can, of course, also ride in the swing.  In the packaging, she is positioned just as so with a golden yellow frock.  The frock is adorable and really elegant.  However, recently, Sylvanian Families switched their baby clothing.  Instead of being tied on with ribbons at the end (refer to our Hopscotch Rabbit twins review if you want to look more deeply into that), it is fastened by a rubber band slung over the neck and body.  While it is much easier to put the frock on and off, it has created some fur imprints that are not reversible.  It is not horribly obvious, though.

This golden yellow frock has also been used for another carry case: Carry Case (Rabbit with Piano).  We also did another review on that if you want to check it out under Carry Case (Rabbit with Piano).  In that set, Breeze Chocolate Rabbit has on the exact same frock!

Once again, Ginni is so compatible with everything else Sylvanian Families or Calico Critters.  This brand uses alot of the same figure molds very obviously.  You can see Ginni and Olive compared below.  They are made from the exact same mold, but have some different fur dying.  (Once again, the slight imprints are made from the new rubber band based clothing).  So cute, aren't they!

Once more, a great carrycase set that is perfect for carrying along, or just joining it with your current critters.  I am a huge fan of these carry cases for their cuteness, simplicity, compatibility, and just how cool it is to have some interesting types of baby accessories.  A swing set will be much enjoyed by all your critter babies!

Ginni Golightly Silk Cat is also compatible with all the baby accessories Sylvanian Families and Calico Critters have.  Those include different colored pacifiers, sippy cups, milk bottles.  The hole that is her mouth is the reason for that, as it can hold onto the bulb at the end of these accessories.  All babies sitting and crawling have that, including Breeze and Olive above.  Here you can see her easily attaching to a yellow pacifier, as well as this sippy cup style bottle.  I always see that white as milk, but up to personal interpretations.  Haha.
