We received our first set, the Country Kitchen, 10 years ago, and have been increasing our sets ever since with our most recent one being the Children's Bedroom Set and the Raspberry Sweet Home. Our collection has grown slowly over the years, but we will always remember that first set. Came with a pair of Doughty Chiffon Dog kids too!

Definitely the Deluxe Village House. We know it's been cancelled but it has a special place in our hearts. It is by far the largest set we have had so far. It was given to us by our grandma and it has been cherished ever since. Currently, there are 10 critters living in the Deluxe Village House.

Yes. We don't want to mix anything else in there. Everything you see in a photo is from some Calico Critters/Sylvanian Families set, besides a little color editing. For instance, Freya's drawing from VERY TERI: Freya's Goods is the cardboard background the Tuxedo Cat Family came in. The background and ground for some photos, however is oragami paper.

We live in the United States of America, so they're called Calico Critters here. We do seperate the names if their packaging is Sylvanian Families. Most Sylvanian Families sets we own are from relatives.

We seperate our critters' names based on their packaging because that's the name they were given. We do however sometimes change their profile.

Like some, we also have Bell duplicates. We already have 2 Heidi's and 3 Bell's, at first we just made them into their Sylvanian counterpart. For example, the extra Bell and Heidi became their Sylvanian counnterparts, Teri and Freya, and Teri happens to be Heidi's older sister. If we already did make them into their counterpart then we alter the name a little bit, such as Bell to Bellia and make it the original's twin (if they have the same clothes, if not they just become another sibling)
