Skip and David were bros for life. They loved doing everything together. One day everyone had went to Teri Choch's home for the afternoon. Skip and David grabbed their lemonade glasses and went to the hot tub. Next they took off their shirts and jumped into the hot tub.
"Hey, let's make the girls wet. Splash some water in," suggested David.
Skip nodded and went closer to the window. There was only a small opening between the hot tub and the window. Skip finished the lemonade and filled his glass with the hot tub water instead. 1...2...3...SPLASH!
David heard a shriek and recognized the voice. It was Bell. David could hear Heidi gasped and then the boys saw Harlin look out the window.
Harlin yells, "Get in here now, boys!"
David and Skip frantically put on their clothes and rush through the door. Everyone either has an angry expression or a shocked expression. "Why did you do that?" Teri asks.
"Uhh," says David, "We thought it would be fun."
Harlin lets them go, the boys are relieved until they return home. Harlin scolds them and says that they shouldn't play these not so funny pranks.
On the next day, Skip and David aren't in the mood for anything until Skip finds that the sugar he put in his tea was salt. He immediately knows Karen and Bell did this. It is on, ladies, he thinks.
This starts an all out pranking war, only rule: No adults will be involved.
On the following afternoon David tells Bell that she overslept. The pranking leads on for days, girls pranking boys and boys pranking girls. Sometimes Freya comes and helps. Once Freya even did a jump scared on Skip after he comes back from the balcony.
Heidi has been finding the house a mess and tells herself she'll get to the bottom of this. She has been finding bed sheets switched, a lot of screams from upstairs and soaking wet critters. Someone clearly has been turning the house upside down.
The next day Teri comes over for a nice coffee and donut breakfast with her sister, she asks what is troubling Heidi.
"Someone is turning my home upside down," Heidi explains, "I just can't figure it out."
Hmmmm, thinks Teri, Freya has been suspicious when we come over.
Teri tells Freya to come downstairs. "What's wrong?" Freya asks.
Teri asks, "What are you doing upstairs?"
Freya replies, "Planning events with Bell and Karen."
"Planning what?"
"I'm sorry, mother, but I can't tell you about the pranking war we have with David and Skip," explains Freya.
After realizing her mistake she says, "Dang it!"
Teri turns to Heidi and says, "There you go, a pranking war."
Upstairs all the children yelled, "FREYA!"
Thump,
thump,
thump!
The children come down and Heidi and Teri gives them a stern look. "Prank war? What's this about?" asked Heidi.
Karen says, "Well you see here-"
Before Karen could finish, Skip blurted out, "It was the girls' fault! They started it!"
"What! It's not our fault!" yelled Bell.
Skip argued, "Was so!"
"Was not!"
"Enough!," roared Teri, "It's everyone's fault, there."
Therefore, all the children had to do extra study time for all the trouble they had caused.
Thanks Debra, we appreciate it! Hope to see you more often on the site.
