All the critters of Cloverleaf Corners could find Harlin Hopscotch in town square every Monday making toy shop deliveries and picking up supplies, such as: firewood, pastries from the Village Cake Shop, magazines and the Calico Times, soaps, and TV episode slots.
The Hopscotch rabbit family had a Luxury Color TV in their living room that could play episodes when a slot of film was inserted on its screen. Sylvanian Village was much more developed than Cloverleaf Corners, so the TV was manufactured in Sylvanian Village and all the episodes were filmed in Sylvanian Village. They would then be delivered through a sky ride to Cloverleaf Corners for the critters there.
There were a total of four episodes, and every episode had its own unique experience to someone in the family. There were a total of four shows produced: the gardening channel, the housing channel, the communal channel, and the nature channel.
The gardening channel was Harlin’s personal favorite. He had always loved nature, and it was nice to see others cultivate it. He would often watch his treasured episode for the week after work with a nice cup of coffee.
The housing channel was Teri and Heidi’s favorite. Teri’s husband, Frasier (who still lived in Sylvanian Village until he could finish up the last few arrangements so that the entire Chocolate family could move to Cloverleaf Corners), was the host of the show. Frasier worked multiple gigs, which included selling sweets as well as hosting the show. He would go around Sylvanian Village and show the nicest houses there were. The sisters loved the pretty curtains, kitchen layouts, and spacious floors. They loved to crowd around the comfy sofa and armchairs in the Deluxe Living Room and oooo at the houses along with some tarts or donuts.
The communal channel was more of a random surprise channel. There was no host and anyone could get on there. Sometimes it would be news. Sometimes it would be an informational documentary, and other times it would be an old photos slideshow. Karen and David loved the communal channel for any chance of some update about their birthplace. This week, it happened to be playing a slideshow of old town photos gathered over the years, including an ancient one of a town population photo playing right now.
The nature channel was Bell and Skip’s favorite. It would often inspire Bell with pretty scenes of grassy meadows and blue rivers as her next drawing project. While Skip had always been fond of running free in the wild.
Television was a wondrous recreational activity for the critters, and everyone had their own unique tastes!
I also luv TV! Are these critters TV addicts like me? LOL As always, cute pics and amazing writing! KEEP IT UP! 😍
