VERY TERI Freya vs. Breeze

It was a cold day at the hillside, however Heid’s squash soup aromas warmed the Deluxe House. Teri was once again thinking of some ideas for her VERY TERI post. Teri loved consistency, so even though she no longer lived at the Lakeside Lodge, she still used MEMO notecards for writing her posts. As she was thinking her two daughters, Freya and Breeze Chocoolate were having a dance off. “Breeze, you know I am never good at this,” whined Freya.

“Oh, you’ll do great!” encouraged Breeze happily, “So please, won’t you dance with me?”

Freya looked into Breeze’s adorable black eyes and agreed to the dance off. As they started, a lightbulb flickered in Teri’s head and she carefully took notes of the dance off. Freya kept tripping on her long, sky blue party dress. Breeze, on the other paw, danced with perfect grace and elegance.

After the two had finished, Breeze was (of course) declared the winner. “Wait!” Teri said, “How about you two go outside and have some tea and treats? I need this for my VERY TERI review tomorrow.”

Freya replied, “Sure, mom. Come on, Breeze you go and sit first. I’ll go ask Aunt Heidi for some tea and treats.”

Teri peeked through one of the living room windows and observed Freya and Breeze. Breeze never dropped a single crumb on her flock and ate daintily. Freya dropped some crumbs and wasn’t as fancy. Teri takes a quick note of this and heads over for some lunch. She would continue her notes later in the day. “Ooo, what are you writing about this time?” asked Karen, showing a wide excited grin.

Teri smiled, “It’s going to be a surprise.”

Karen plops herself down for some squash soup with Teri. Everyone in the country was very close to each other, no matter who you were. Everyone was quick to get to know the Tuxedo Cats.

The afternoon passed quickly because winter was here. Overtime Teri took even more notes. She even took notes of how the sisters spoke differently! Now the note-taking was done. It was time to write. When she was in the middle of writing, Heidi peeked and said, “Teri! You didn’t even go to nursery school at Breeze’s age!”

Teri explained, “Dramatizing events are VERY TERI.”

“Just stop dramatizing and say the actual thing!” replied Heidi, with a rather annoyed tone.

Teri sighed, “Alright, I’ll just cross out that bit.”

Teri continued writing and this was how it went:

Teri admired her long posts. She liked this creative posts and decided to get her sister’s feedback. “Mommy, do we still have to stand here?” asked Breeze.

Teri had forgotten she told her daughters to stand straightly, so she could compare their outfits.

“Oh,” Teri answered, “Yes you two may leave. Thank you.”

Heidi sat herself down in the living room and read Teri’s post. “So, what do you think?” demanded Teri.

Heidi argued, “Teri, you're going to hurt Freya! Breeze got 5 and she got 2. I don’t see what’s wrong with her anyway.”

Teri said, “Nonsense, it’s just a VERY TERI thing. Freya will be proud of such a detailed post.”

“You said her choice of words isn’t good! Freya speaks fine!”

“Heidi, don’t worry about Freya. I still love her either way. She’s still my daughter no matter what.”

With that being said, Teri took the MEMO cards and organized them neatly. When Harlin came back for lunch, she borrowed the Seven Seater and delivered the cards.

The very next day, Teri left early to have some breakfast with Natalie at the Lakeside Lodge. Freya was eating breakfast which consisted of salt and pepper biscuits and leftover squash soup. As she was eating she opened up today’s edition of the Calico Times and started reading. VERY TERI post were always on the second page and when Freya read what her mother wrote she fell backwards in her chair because of the shock.

Karen, who was eating with her, rushed towards Freya. Heidi ran from the kitchen to Freya. “Are you alright? Is anything broken?” Did you bump your head?” bombarded Heidi.

Freya shook her head, “I am fine, just shocked and sad.”

For the rest of the day, Freya was just sad. She didn’t say, eat or do much. “Are you okay, Freya? You look sad,” squeaked Breeze.

Freya bent down and hugged her baby sister, “You wouldn't get it.”

Breeze smiles warmly, “Even if I do not understand, I am still here for you.”

Soon, Teri returns and is immediately pulled by Heidi into the kitchen. “Freya is hurt because of your post! You need to make it up to Freya!” explained Heidi.

Teri said, “I never thought she would actually have feelings for that post.”

David chimed in, “You should write something.”

“Ooo,” added Karen, “Something related to VERY TERI!”

Heidi suggested, “Write a VERY TERI post about why you love Freya!”

“That will work,” answered Teri, a bit sadly, she had never meant to hurt Freya with her writing.

Heidi hugged her sister, “Everything will be okay. Freya still loves you. She is just sad, that’s all.”

While Teri was writing, the babies noticed how sad Freya was. “Baby meeting!” called Henry.

Hopper replies, after all the babies were here, “Freya is sad. We need to help.”

Ginni and Olive were also there because they were dropped off for a playdate. Ginni suggested, “What if we follow her? She can be the star.”

“That work,” said Honey, “But where Breeze?”

Breeze was at the Toy Shop with Harlin because he needed her to try out some toys. “Let go now. Freya the star then she happy again,” Olive said, as she started following Freya up the stairs.

Freya had come down, just to see what was the commotion. It was actually just the babies laughing and chattering. Skip stared blankly as an entourage of babies followed his cousin. “Why are you all following me?” questioned Freya, the babies weren't very sneaky, but they sure were cute.

They just giggled and continued following behind her. The babies were trying to show that Freya can get all their attention to cheer her up. As they followed, Teri got to work. She would write it today and tomorrow it would be published. She thought long and hard and came up with good ideas. From time to time, Heidi would check in on her sister. Finally the writing was complete.
