Very Teri Party Food

It was a new day therefore Teri Choch would start a new entry for the Calico Times. At breakfast, she was wondering what to write about. Breeze suggested a review about the television and Freya suggested a review about something they ate everyday: the party food from the Delicious Restaurant.

Teri praised, "What a spectacular idea, Freya!"

Freya beamed and thanked her mother for the compliment. Everyone stopped eating and let Teri write her review. "Freya could you pass me the salad?" requested Teri, "Thank you."

"Here you go mom, have fun!" She said as, she brought Breeze upstairs to play ballerina. Teri would eat a dish then write about it.

Teri was very proud of her entry and happily summited it to the Calico Times. The following day VERY TERI Party Foods was published. Teri received many compliments from her sister, Heidi and Heidi’s husband, Harlin. The children were enthusiastic that Teri Choch could make it onto the daily paper! Teri had even been asked by William Cinnamon for a photo so they could publish her photo. Teri put on her best smile and snap. Along with her photo she also published her home phone number at the end, so people call for suggestions on VERY TERI reviews. The phone rang the following afternoon when Teri was simply having a glass or lemonade.

“Hello?” she answered, “May I know who I am speaking to?”

“Oh my gosh! You must be Teri Choch Rabbit! I’m Natalie Charcoal from Cloverleaf Corners. I am the Tuxedo Cat mother. You see I love your writing, your fashion sense, your opinion, your...well EVERYTHING!” gushed Natalie.

Teri was both shocked and pleased about this call. A fan! Teri replied, “Well thank you for such fine compliments. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re the ballet teacher aren’t you?”

“Why yes, I am.”

“My daughter, Breeze, loves watching you and your students dance. Her dream is to be a ballerina.”

Natalie giggled on the phone and apologized, “Why thank you I appreciate it! I am sorry, but I must go, I am borrowing the Silk Cats’ phone. I hope we talk again soon. Farewell and keep up with the good work!”

“Goodbye and have a wonderful day. Thank you too!” Teri cheerfully exclaimed.

Teri was bursting with joy, she was very pleased with the call she had received. At lunch, she told Heidi about everything and was excited about the next review.
