Teri was enjoying a salad when she saw her daughter Breeze enjoying a bite of cake.
It almost hit her like lightning. Breeze has been having way too much dessert. Right away, Breeze’s cake was switched out with grilled cucumber.
Although Breeze preferred cake, she was still a good girl who ate up all the cucumber. Skin and meat and all. Not to mention, she did it properly with a stainless steel fork.
Then, Teri decided to start her mission of the day: to try better health habits. It was time her family stopped with the various cakes, and only occasional salad. She fixed up a healthy side of bell peppers and the restaurant bought salad for her daughters and her as breakfast.
Then, she imposed a ban on more than one slice of cake and one glass of lemonade a day. Freya decided that she might as well enjoy her slice now. She also poured herself down a glass of lemonade, and one shining glass to Breeze as well.
“Where me cake?” Breeze asked after gulping the yellow sweet drink.
“You already had cake this morning!” Teri told her off, before proclaiming that a brisk stroll around the house was to be in order. So, she and her daughters swung the door open and enjoyed a walk in the pleasant sun. Of course, she made sure that Freya and her were wearing special party hats for good appearance while exercising.
“Now, make sure you drink some water!” Teri directed towards her daughters as she filled up glasses of sink water.
Lunch was also adequately healthy enough. Teri decided a home cooked meal was in order. With her chopping board, she diced up the leftover yellow bell peppers with a fresh tomato.
They sizzled in the pan as a vibrant and colorful dish. Teri’s take on salad, improving over the course of many tries, was eaten all around.
“Mother, when did you become so health directed? I’m impressed,” Freya inquired.
“I realized that we must all make an effort,” Teri sweetly replied. “Now, off to bed! Naps are great for your health!”
The rabbits tucked themselves in on their hammocks, after a quick sleepily toned tune from Breeze and her piano.
By dinner time, the rabbits were feeling very proud of themselves and decided that a bit of indulgence was okay. Pizza, always a little greasy under Freya’s views, would be dinner.
“I’m sure we can let loose a little,” Freya agreed.
The next morning: Teri was very satisfied with her new habits from yesterday. She called on the one person she knew that made the biggest deal of being healthy: her daughter Freya.
“Freya, come down! We’re writing a VERY TERI together today.”
“Okay, mother,” Freya replied as she climbed down the wide ladder.
They sat down at the table and began to write.
The writing went by pleasantly. Freya was beaming with so much pride at the introduction her mother had written her. Teri’s cursive handwriting unexplainably almost made the introduction look more real and formal. Teri herself was also pleased with the post. It covered a brand new topic sure to hit critters. Satisfied indeed, Teri dropped it off at the newspaper office in town. The result was a huge sensational hit! Critters everywhere looked at Teri not only as a well to do writer, but as a health mogul too. She lived what seemed to be a balanced lifestyle every critter respected. A critter of both country and town, salad and desserts, caring and aspiring mother.
Oh, I love that paragraph at the end! Teri's desciption suits her and is written beautifully! Well done Humjibang!
