Morning came and Teri smiled at herself. This would be the start of another VERY TERI day! Of course, Teri bathed herself. Dirtiness was not VERY TERI at all! Teri’s dress was also VERY TERI, a soft white collar, the hem lined with blue ribbons, and elegant wildflower print. However the centerpiece of Teri’s outfit, a fashionable VERY TERI “lady tie”; Hmmm, my dress is VERY TERI, I should take a note of that, Teri thought to herself.
After Breeze and Freya woke up, they all went inside the Cherry Cruiser. They were headed to the Tuxedo Cats’ home for breakfast. Natalie was so proud of her omelets she invited critters every week to try. Though Teri had never noticed, she saw on Natalie’s green silk dress there was a bright yellow “lady” tie. “That is a VERY TERI tie!” compliments Teri, “I’m thinking of writing about ties for tomorrow’s VERY TERI post. What do you think?”
“Thank you and I think that’s a terrific idea. Ties are so elegant and divine, plus when you make it into a VERY TERI review!” Natalie exclaims, “Oh, that reminds me. I wanted to show you something.”
Natalie comes back to the kitchen a minute later holding her daughters’ large desk mat. She flips it over and it reveals all the VERY TERI posts Teri had ever written. Natalie beamed, “I’ve been collecting them. Cut and glue them on every morning.”
Teri was astonished, she never had a fan before. “Wow! I am glad you like my writing! You truly are VERY TERI!” Teri says.
Natalie smiles proudly, “I can’t wait for your next post.”
The two friends tell each other goodbye and Teri, Freya and Breeze walk on over to the Hopscotch residency.
“Good morning!” greeted David.
“Hello, hello,” Breeze giggles.
Teri noticed the tie David had, it was dark red and it was just like her’s and Natalie’s. “That’s a VERY TERI tie,” she claims.
David replies, “Uh, thanks. My mom bought it for me at Sylvania, I had to look my best.”
Teri’s eyes go wide, “You mean the Sylvanian Boutique?! Run by The Persis Persian Cat mother?! I love that shop!”
David nods, “Yeah, my dad likes it since he’s very city-like.”
“Hmmm, I do like ties,” Teri thinks aloud, “Now I definitely will write my post about ties.”
Heidi smiles at her sister, “Good morning, sis! I got some tart cake for breakfast if you want.”
Teri answers, “Sure, I’ll take a small slice. I just had an omelet at Natalie’s house. Plus, I have a new VERY TERI idea! Ties!”
Heidi claims, “Wait, you never wrote about fashion before. Are you sure you want to do this?”
“I have an opinion for everything! Everything, Heidi!” remarks Teri.
“Alright, I’ll be waiting to read it.”
After the tart cake and quick chat with Heidi, Teri headed home in her Cherry Cruiser.
She was very excited about her first post on fashion. Teri ushered Breeze to play soothing music and Freya did some homework. After carefully choosing her words, the VERY TERI was done!
The MEMO was perfect and Felicia came right on time. Snap! The next day the VERY TERI post came out perfectly and Natalie was overjoyed to have herself in the Calico Times. Better yet, with Teri and Mason! Skip was very proud that his best friend was on there and all was well in the countryside of Cloverleaf Corners.
